Writing Producing Date

I visited Picasso museum in Paris. Picasso wrote producing dates with his signatures. It was interesting for me and influenced my project.  Producing date is one of the important point as artworks. We imagine background of paintings through dates.  I will write date on my pots. 

On Kawara also painted producing date. We imagine a lot of things from dates.

Photo shooting -Tortus Copenhagen-

TORTUS COPENHAGEN is a Danish pottery studio. Their images are very unique.  They take photos of their products with the muscular artist. I do not know whether it is the best presentation for their works. But this is their strategy and I think this presentation is very strong.

Photo shooting of miniature pots

 I have not had good photos of my miniature so I took photography of my miniature works. I took photos of them as groups of miniatures, because, I thought taking photos of them individually was not so beautiful.   Photo shooting is difficult, but it is very important to make presentations. I will ask professional photographer in the future to get great images.

I worked with Guang.

3.Methodology

Every Monday morning.

We are going to make some glaze test pieces together.

Evaluation 

We made some new glazes. Actually, creating glazes needs professional knowledge of glaze. I worked with Guang who does not have knowledge of glaze and I could not get any inspiration from him to made new glazes. I understand I have to study glaze by myself to make new glaze through this project.  I do not think collaboration always give us benefit.  And the  important problem of this project was that I have not chosen my partner by myself. I have to choose a partner who will give me benefit by myself, If I need collaboration.

Making miniature tea pots

I made miniature tea pots. I thought it could be good practice for my throwing.

Movie -Making process of miniature pots-

I took movie of making process of miniature pots. Showing this movie with physical object will be  good presentation. It is expected audience understand techniques of making miniatures.

The relationship between artist's bodies and material

I have explored the relationship between human bodies and material in the past two month. but It is very wide area and I decided I am going to focus on the relationship between artist's bodies and material. It means the relationship between my body and clay in the making process.  I think I can make something new by focusing on only this aspect.
